Dorothy Simmons was an exquisite cook. She valued family, hospitality, and a home-cooked meal made with love. This cookbook was made in her honor as a way to bring her vibrant personality and adored meals to life. Behind each of the illustrated subjects is Dorothy’s handwriting from each of the corresponding recipes she would share with loved ones as they were collected over her lifetime. For this project, I chose Illustrator and InDesign as my primary design program.
